Pura Vida — Roots of Culture is a digital companion for discovering Indigenous wisdom through medicinal and artistic plants. Deployed in Costa Rica as an educational tool, it helps students and communities recognise the plants around them and the cultural knowledge carried with them.
More than a plant directory, it safeguards the Bribrí and Ngäbere languages through an illustrated dictionary and pictionary — pairing each species with its native names, uses, and stories so the knowledge stays rooted for the next generation.
